Throughout 2017 DR.E have carried out a complete services for Doncasters in Sheffield, we have carried out reactive maintenance work, Machine safety circuit upgrades, installation of machine supplies and the installation of bus bars.
This installation involved the decommission of a bus bar that had deteriorated to the point it had become unsafe. The project involved the partial shutdown of the factory’s production, so the timing had to be accurate and the installation efficient as we were giving 812 hours to get all the supplies changed over. We took the opportunity to install some additional safety measures like a changeover switch which allows essential supplies to be kept up and running in the event of transformer failure/loss of power. All designed and managed by DRE.
During 2017 we have been involved in the design and installation of all the electrical works for a new build industrial unit.
The design of this one was interesting, the unit was built to be split into 2.3 and 4 separate units depending on the tenant’s requirements/needs all electrical installations designed and installed by DRE.
We upgraded 180 high lights with LED bay lights throughout the factory. In the loading areas and warehouse, the bay lights had inbuilt microwave sensors to maximise the energy savings. We then carried out a full rewire of the office lighting and took the opportunity to combine occupancy sensors to add to the savings.
Used these guys for years. Never fail to impress. From office bashing to machine control wiring to major installs. Always hard working. Always finished ahead of schedule. Can’t recommend enough.
